Types of Resin

Resin Bond

Resin Bond uses a 'coat and scatter system' that involves coating an existing surface with resin and then spraying crushed gravel on top.

DB Construction Groundworks would recommend resin bound surfacing instead for a better result.

Resin Bound

Resin Bound surfacing relies on mixing special aggregate together with polymer resin (many Colours Available).

This mixture is then applied to your existing driveway surface or a new concrete base and is then smoothed over with a trowel, creating a nice even finish for your home exterior, perfect for vehicles and pedestrians alike.

Resin Before & After

Resin Bound is the ideal material for driveways, paths and patios. With a choice of colours and bespoke style, aesthetically pleasing to the eye and a smooth surface which is both durable and practical and there are a choice of edgings to compliment or contrast the resin surface. Drainage channels can be installed if necessary and drain covers can be incorporated into the design while still allowing for access.

Resin can be used on most existing surfaces. Preparation is the key and the area is cleaned, any repairs made, edgings incorporated and any drainage added, if required.

Bespoke pattern incorporated using two colours, also bordered with a contrasting colour to match.
